Commencement Ceremony for the New Headquarters and Youth Hostel of the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association 🎉   Chun Wo is thrilled to be the main contractor of "New Headquarters and Youth Hostel of the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association". This project involves the construction of a new headquarters for the association, with the upper structure being built using the Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) method for the youth hostel. 🏗   The major challenge of this project lies in the transportation, lifting, and installation of the MiC components. This is crucial because the team will have to assemble the hostel part with components weighing 20 tons each on top of the headquarters upon completion.   A commencement ceremony was recently held to officiate the works. We were honored to have representatives from our parent company, Asia Allied Infrastructure, along with Chun Wo's management team, and distinguished guests included Mrs. Leung Tong Ching Yee, President of HKGGA, and Mr. Lau Ping Cheung, GBS JP, Chairman of the Project Management Committee, to join the event, wishing for a smooth and successful completion of the project.   #ChunWo #ChunWoNews #HKGGA #GirlGuidesAssociation #NewHeadquarters

We are thrilled to share that our project, Blissful Place, has received multiple design awards. Blissful Place is a retirement community for the elderly. We have integrated landscape into our interior spaces and have also incorporated external and internal exercise corners to inspire a healthy lifestyle. Our design intention is to provide a centralized space with a variety of activities, creating a welcoming and comforting haven for the elderly community. We would like to thank everyone involved in bringing this vision to life and are honored to be recognized for its innovative and compassionate design. Designed by our director Anthony Leung, the Pound Lane Bathhouse is an adaptive reuse project located in Sheung Wan. Opened in 1904, the Pound Lane Bathhouse was Hong Kong’s first bathhouse facility that was established to improve environmental hygiene in the local community. This historic structure has served as a vital public facility, providing one of the very few places in Hong Kong for people to take a hot shower. Decades later, we have refurbished the Pound Lane Bathhouse with modern upgrades while preserving its original character. Today, the bathhouse still remains an iconic structure in the district and we hope that this facility will be cherished for years to come! Located at the main entrance of the Park, Building 1 is designed to be an iconic landmark for the area. We envision this development as a hub for research and development.
