AsBAA is a non-profit association representing business and general aviation entities based in Asia and around the world. Our members include major operators, aircraft manufacturers, aviation service providers, finance and insurance providers and any organisation or individual with an interest in seeing BA/GA thrive in Asia. Through AsBAA, our members obtain support with operational challenges and in turn, also support the greater advancement and development of the business and general aviation industry in Asia. AsBAA provides a platform for communication and action relating to key issues such as: airport access, regulation and policy, safety, professional development and training, public awareness and the industry’s contribution to the economy.   • We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the AsBAA & ACP China Safety Symposium 2024 General Aviation and Business Aviation (GABA) Forum, held at the newly established ExecuJet Haite MRO Hangar facility in Beijing Daxing FBO. This prominent event was attended by over 200 distinguished senior leaders, government representatives, and industry experts, including notable delegations from The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), US-China Aviation Co-operation Program (ACP), Beijing Daxing International Airport Economic Zone, Capital Airports Holdings Business Aviation Management Co., Ltd (CBM), and ExecuJet Haite.   In the context of China's rapid advancements in General Aviation and Business Aviation, the symposium underscored the critical need to enhance safety oversight and elevate operational standards.   • AsBAA had the privilege of representing the business aviation sector at the ECCP Aviation Committee Meeting with the New NAIA Infra. Corp (NNIC) General Manager Lito Alvarez held on 15 August 2024 at the San Miguel Corp Head Office.   • The Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) hosted a dazzling evening of celebration and recognition at the Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong on 11 November 2023, marking the triumphant return of its highly-anticipated annual Icons of Aviation (IOA) awards gala. The event, which was last held in 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, brought together over 200 distinguished guests from the Asian business aviation industry to celebrate excellence, innovation, and the contributions of pioneers who have shaped the industry's trajectory. Under the captivating theme of "Pioneers of Flight," the gala paid homage to the visionary individuals who dared to push boundaries and transform the world of aviation. The evening was lively and fun, with exciting Latin dances and Ska music that made it an evening to remember for everyone. In addition to the captivating entertainment, the gala served as a platform to recognize and honor the outstanding achievements of organizations and individuals within the Asian business aviation industry.
