ASTRI signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with the Shenzhen Luohu District People's Government and the International OpenCity Community (OCC) Lab during the "OCC 2024 Greater Bay Area and Yangtze River Delta AI Industry Collaboration Forum". The three parties will collaborate on "AI+ Industry" initiatives, focusing on cross-border data and transaction technologies, FinTech, generative artificial intelligence and more. This collaboration aims to facilitate the application of innovative technologies while jointly exploring business application scenarios in Hong Kong and Shenzhen. Besides, we’ll also strengthen talent exchange and cultivation, supporting the regional digital transformation and contributing to the advancement of Luohu as a smart district. The cooperation memorandum was signed by Ms Feng Jian, Standing Committee Member of the Luohu District, Deputy District Mayor of Luohu District, and the Leading Party Group Member; Ir Chris Chong, Acting Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of ASTRI; and Mr Yujie Du, Founder of the OCC and Executive Director of OCC Lab.   #ASTRI #Luohugovernment #OCC #AI #FinTech

The 2024 China Intelligent Transportation Conference (ITSAC 2024), organised by the China Intelligent Transportation Association, is being held from 3 to 6 November at the Hangzhou International Expo Centre. This event brings together government officials, business leaders, and experts to explore the latest trends in intelligent transportation.   ASTRI, as a co-organiser, hosted the "Smart Road Construction and Development Conference" today, focusing on cross-border transportation and China’s solutions for international markets. Dr Ying Huang, ASTRI's Acting Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer, shared insights on advancing smart cross-border transportation system, emphasising the importance of innovative applications and industry collaboration.   The conference featured a round table titled "Cross-border Connected Autonomous Vehicles: Outlook for Hong Kong-Greater Bay Area Collaboration Development", moderated by Mr Dongzhe Su, ASTRI’s Director of Smart Mobility.
