The day kicked off with a team update and some lively Global Volunteer Day games to set the tone. Then, the team headed to Parco Baden Powell, joining forces with the inspiring We Are Urban crew to transform a vandalised wall into a colourful mural. At AS Watson, we understand the growing concern surrounding missing elderly individuals, especially those with dementia. Our "Wanderer Watchers" Dementia Care Network is dedicated to safeguard every senior citizen and dementia patient in our community through our 500+ stores at Watsons, PARKnSHOP, FORTRESS, and Watson’s Wine. 🫶 We will provide dementia-related training to over 10,000 staff members, equipping them with the essential knowledge. The team was also recognised as finalists in three award categories below, standing out among 650+ submissions from over 100 law firms and 60 in-house legal teams: • Retail and Hospitality In-House Team of the Year • Hong Kong In-House Team of the Year • Innovative In-House Team of the Year Earlier this year the team also received a commendation in the category Innovation in Digital Solutions at the 2024 FT Innovative Lawyers Awards, Asia, organised by the Financial Times and RSGI. Last week, we were honoured to receive two Social Sustainability Awards for our responsible management of ICT waste. 💻♻️   As part of rolling out the new R10 cash register software at Kruidvat Nederland, we replaced all cash register hardware. Our commitment to sustainability means we’ve disposed of this hardware in a way that prioritizes reuse and the recovery of raw materials. 🌍   These awards are not just a recognition of our policies, but a reflection of how deeply we value Corporate Social Responsibility.
