💙 [#AXAMindHealthStudy #Workers] Workplace stress is a pervasive challenge that can become overwhelming, prompting individuals to consider avoiding the office altogether. We were joined by Emily Li, our Chief Employee Benefits and Wellness Officer, and Angela Wong, our Chief Marketing and Customer Officer, to unveil the findings of our latest annual study – the "AXA Study of Mind Health and Wellbeing 2024". We also had Denise Tam, Certified Holistic Nutritionist, and Dr. Claudia Ng, Registered Chiropractor to share their insights on how mental health impact our physical wellness. The study reveals that 77% of Hong Kong workers have encountered at least one mental health issue related to their job, with nearly half requiring sick leave as a result. This survey, which assesses mind health and wellbeing globally, painting a concerning picture of the challenges faced by Hong Kong's workforce, highlighting the pressing need for employers to take decisive action. AXA has long been an advocate of mental health awareness, and we are now moving forward to provide actionable solutions and treatments. We are actively developing new mental health offerings and services to foster resilience among individuals in Hong Kong.
