[Nurturing Innovation🙌 Odyssey of the Mind Hong Kong Regional Tournament 2025 ]   Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong has been proud to be the organiser of the Hong Kong Regional Tournament of Odyssey of the Mind since 2017, providing a dynamic international platform for young minds to showcase their creativity in problem solving✨!   This year's competition, held on 1 March at Wu Kwai Sha Youth Village, brought together 31 teams from 28 schools around Hong Kong. These bright young talents engaged in a series of creative problem-solving tasks and collaborative teamwork to win  the chance to represent Hong Kong at the World Finals in Michigan, USA.   🎊Special congratulations to Chinese YMCA Secondary School in "Problem 1: Vehicle, Chinese YMCA College in "Problem 3: Classics”, and Chinese YMCA Primary School in "Problem 4: Structure” for winning first runner-up in their division. They will soon journey to the USA to compete against global participants for the World Championship 🏆.   We are committed to fostering the next generation of innovative talents, empowering Hong Kong's creative future! ✨   #YMCA #STEM #STEAM #OdysseyoftheMind

【Spreading Double Happiness this Chinese New Year! 🎈✂️】   Our Y-Care corporate partner TÜV Rheinland Hong Kong Ltd. sponsored a special event at our Hin Keng Centre. This wonderful initiative brought together our social enterprises "YM HAIR" and "YM Balloon" to create a memorable CNY experience for 30 children within the neighbourhood while supporting local social enterprise development! 😊   Our team from "YM HAIR" gave the children more than fresh looks for the Chinese new year - they also provided haircut vouchers to help the families save on festive season expenses 🙌. Meanwhile, "YM Balloon" brightened up the space with adorable panda New Year decorations and balloon sticks🐼, turning what could have been nervous moments for children into a fun experience✨! [YM Fleur x Urban Renewal Authority 市區重建局 - Revitalising Community Connections Through Floral Art 🌷]   The flower market is more than just a commercial hub - it's a platform where art brings communities together!   Our social enterprise YM Fleur received support from Urban Renewal Authority under the "Arts and Cultural Partnership Programme in Old Urban Districts" to organise the community art project " The Joy of Floral 🌸".    Under the project, YM Fleur organises a total of 9 floral art workshops from December 2024 to August 2025 to be taught by grassroots women or part-time working mothers who need to stay at home to look after their children. The workshops provide residents living in the Prince Edward district with the opportunity to create floral art., sharing their exceptional floral craftsmanship with local residents.   This meaningful project will collect part of the floral artworks created by the residents during the art workshops for display in the community.
