The Group's Battery Business, GP Batteries is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Mahalaxmi Industries (MLI), a leading innovator in portable lighting and backup solutions, to introduce the GP Spicelite consumer battery brand in India. This collaboration aims to enhance our presence in that market. Mahalaxmi Industries has established itself as a key player in the portable lighting and backup appliance sector, offering a diverse portfolio that includes dry cell and rechargeable torches, solar bulbs, table lamps, mosquito bats, and emergency lighting. Through this partnership, GP Batteries will broaden its reach and marketing efforts within the Indian marketplace. Initially, GP Spicelite will focus on delivering high-quality, affordable zinc carbon batteries, with plans to gradually expand the product range. “We are enthused about our partnership with MLI,” stated Steven Lee, VP and GM for APMEA of GP Batteries. “In today’s market, consumers seek quality, reliability, performance and affordability. 2024 marks two significant milestones for Gold Peak Technology Group. It is the 60th anniversary of the Group as well as the centennial anniversary of Celestion, the Group's prestigious professional speaker driver brand.   To commemorate these auspicious occasions, the Group hosted a dinner reception on 19 June 2024 attended by more than 500 staff members and close business partners. The event was filled with an air of refinement, punctuated by the soothing melodies of live music, the savoring of culinary delights, and the sharing of wines. The celebratory atmosphere was further amplified by heartfelt expressions of gratitude and camaraderie, as the organization acknowledged the invaluable contributions of its board directors and staff members.   "These momentous achievements are a testament to the unwavering dedication and steadfast commitment of our team and valued partners," stated Mr Victor Lo, the Group's Chairman & Chief Executive. "As we embark on the next chapter of our esteemed legacy, we are filled with a renewed sense of purpose and look forward to continue driving innovation and growth in the industry."   The Group expressed its sincere appreciation for the trust and collaboration of all stakeholders, and eagerly anticipates the future opportunities that lie ahead as it continues to ascend to new heights.

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Franck Lebouchard as a Director of KEF GP Group Limited (KGG). Based in Paris, Franck brings to the Group a wealth of experience and expertise, especially in the audio and acoustics industry. He has held CEO positions at prominent companies such as Devialet, Demos Group, and Cinéma Gaumont Pathé. KGG, as a collection of the Group’s principal subsidiaries in the Electronics and Acoustics Business, synergises our capabilities and activities in R&D, design, manufacturing, branding, and sales. Franck is poised to bring a fresh perspective and innovative thinking to KGG, enabling the Group to adapt and thrive in a rapidly evolving market, particularly in the realm of strategic business development.

Further to the successful launch of the KEF Music Gallery Tokyo in December last year, the KEF brand has expanded further with the recent opening of the KEF Music Studio Chengdu, marking its first experiential showroom in Mainland China. This exciting development took place in late March 2024, and the experience centre is conveniently located within Chengdu International Finance Square (IFS), a prestigious shopping center situated in the heart of the city. The primary aim of this experiential space is to create an immersive retail destination that caters to the needs of discerning audiophiles.
