The Green Council Led Hong Kong Students to Visit the Power Plant of China Resources Group On April 13th, 2024, the Green Council led teachers and students from G.T. (Ellen Yeung) College, who had won the "Go Green Act Green" challenge the previous year, to visit China Resources Power (CR Power) and experience the operation of their green and energy-efficient power plant. China Resources Group has consistently upheld the principle of "empowering green development and creating a low-carbon life" and is committed to the development of clean energy. The group actively facilitates educational tours for the public to promote environmental education. This visit not only enhanced the students' understanding of regional development progress but also underscored the significance of achieving energy conservation and the positive environmental impact of energy-efficient technologies. Lin Jianhua, the Technical Director of China Resources Group, warmly welcomed the visiting team and led the teachers and students through a tour of the control room, generator platform, boiler platform, Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) exhibition hall, microalgae cultivation center, and energy utilization demonstration park. During the visit, the students actively interacted with the staff of China Resources Group, engaging in in-depth and detailed dialogues.
