ASIA’S FIRST: SCHIAPARELLI’s Pop-Up Store at Plaza 66, Shanghai Schiaparelli, the avant-garde French haute couture house, has unveiled its first-ever retail presence in Asia at Hang Lung’s #Plaza66 in Shanghai, marking a significant milestone for the brand. Named, “Through the Keyhole” and set up in a gilded case in the shape of a keyhole, the limited-time pop-up and retail exhibition will take visitors on a voyage to the brand’s historic salons on Place Vendôme in Paris. "For Schiaparelli, its first opus in China is part of a global strategy to extend its international presence," said Janice Cheung, Director – Mainland Business Operation of Hang Lung Properties. "For Plaza 66, such a collaboration with Schiaparelli further solidifies our industry-leading position as the #HOMETOLUXURY. We are very pleased to be the first to bring Schiaparelli's haute couture designs to consumers in mainland China and even across Asia." Today, over 300 colleagues gathered at our Gala Place office to celebrate an exciting milestone in our Hong Kong Office Rejuvenation Project. About 60 institutional investors, analysts, and bankers joined our two-day reverse roadshow in Shanghai and Dalian recently. Our CFO, Mr. Kenneth Chiu, along with other senior management, shared our business strategies and the latest developments in mainland China. The participants visited Plaza 66 in Shanghai, where its pavilion extension will add about 13% of retail space to the mall upon its completion in 2026, addressing potential tenants' keen demand for retail space. The tour also highlighted Grand Gateway 66, which has just announced the introduction of Kimpton Xujiahui Shanghai, scheduled to open by the end of 2026. Olympia 66 in Dalian, the roadshow’s last stop, impressed investors with its successful transformation into the city's top-tier luxury retail destination after its upgrade in 2021. Thrilling discussions, groundbreaking insights, and a shared commitment to sustainability marked the recent Real Estate & Decarbonization Summit hosted by Hang Lung. Bringing together a diverse array of experts, from academics to policy experts and startups to tenants, the event was a resounding success in shaping the future of real estate decarbonization. With a focus on reducing carbon footprints in construction and operations, the Summit showcased innovative solutions and actionable ideas.
