  • ["The Last Dance" Gallery] The team behind the movie “THE LAST DANCE” held its gallery launch at Harbour City earlier this month. Director Anselm joined actors Dayo Wong, Michelle Wai , Catherine Chau, and Rachel Leung for a meet-and-greet with fans. Not only did they premiere the official trailer for the movie, but they also revealed a fantastic surprise: from now until 6 Nov, “THE LAST DANCE” Gallery will take place at Gallery by the Harbour. The exhibition will showcase stunning movie posters designed by renowned art master William Chang, along with captivating stills from the film.     [L'Occitane En Provence X Plastic Odyssey X Harbour City] The French plastic reduction ship Plastic Odyssey, sponsored by L'Occitane En Provence, is making a stop in Hong Kong, docking at our Ocean Terminal from now until 27 Oct. The initiative aims to promote solutions to address plastic pollution on land. Together, we are hosting the pop-up exhibition “OCEAN or PLASTIC?”, inviting visitors to rediscover the relationship between the ocean and plastic. This pop-up aspires to be the first 100% sustainable exhibition space. It showcases Plastic Odyssey’s global expedition and philosophy in combating ocean plastic pollution, the impressive recycling statistics of beauty product empty bottles by L'Occitane in the local market, and artworks from local upcyclists. In addition to the onboard tour, the exhibition features a special workshop titled “Charm Your Bag with Upcycled Art”. Participants can create unique bag charms or phone straps using colorful upcycled plastic letter charms, allowing everyone to express their creativity through recycled art.   • Boosting Safety Awareness Through Fun Booth Games!   We’re excited to share the success of our recent 2024 Safety Awareness Day, a fantastic initiative that highlights our company’s commitment to fostering a culture of safety and health in the workplace.   At this vibrant event, our colleagues took part in safety games at various booths created by different centres. This hands-on experience helped everyone deepen their understanding of key safety topics, including office and site safety, confined spaces, and the safe use of chemicals. It was a great way to spark interest and boost awareness around occupational safety!   The atmosphere was electric! The public saw a vibrant ‘Ballet Spectacular by the Harbour’ Hong Kong Ballet Outdoor Theatre, ‘Tutu Academy Ballet Camp by the Harbour’ performance on 1 October and the inspiring 45th Anniversary exhibition ‘Harbour Ballet Reverie’ at Gallery by the Harbour at Harbour City from now until 22 October.   The exhibition invites guests to peek into the vibrant creativity of HKB’s ‘Tutu Academy’ 45th anniversary theme, rich history and brilliant dancers. HKB’s distinguished legacy is presented through a display of rich archival photographs that capture iconic performances and candid behind-the-scenes moments.     [YouTube Music Night @Harbour City] With a strategic collaboration with YouTube, Harbour City is hosting three exceptional music events from August to October, where talented artists from various regions come together for unforgettable performances against the breathtaking backdrop of the night view of Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong skyline from dusk till night! We kicked off the first YouTube Music Night at the Ocean Terminal Deck in August, featuring a remarkable collaborative performance by the Canadian duo Crash Adams, who boast over 10 million YouTube subscribers, and rising Australian singer-songwriter Oliver Cronin. The event attracted a large crowd of fans to the mall, who gathered around the deck to see this one-of-a-kind event despite the sweltering temperatures! Local Hong Kong artists will also be joining the YouTube Music Night lineup, further heightening the excitement of the shows.
