SINGAPORE: Litigation Counsel for global internet services company. Ideal candidate has 4-5 years of broad commercial litigation experience. Too much of a focus on one type of litigation (e.g., FCPA, securities, antitrust) likely won't work. This is a great opening for a litigator with a strong business / entrepreneurial mindset as you'll be one of the leading lawyers in their E-COMMERCE business division guiding them on minimizing risk as they maximize growth. HONG KONG (TWO OPENINGS) (1) Top Wall Street Firm - Hiring a litigation associate into their Asia Litigation team. The ideal candidate has some experience with regulatory / compliance matters, such as FCPA, sanctions, export controls, and US outbound investment restrictions; but a strong overall litigator with a good answer to "Why Asia" would work as well. 2nd-5th years are the sweet spot. No specific Asian language skills necessary other than English. (2) US Firm with top global Litigation team is interviewing KOREAN-speaking litigation associates for their Seoul office. 2020-2022 is the sweet spot. You will be working on a diverse range of matters spanning international arbitration, commercial litigation, and white-collar crime and the leading partner in Hong Kong has received numerous accolades from publications (e.g., Chambers, Legal500, Who's Who Legal) SEOUL: US firm with a top global Litigation / Investigations practice is looking for a Litigation associate (2nd-5th Year) with a US BigLaw background and native (or at least business-fluent) Korean.  Your practice will be a mix of complex commercial litigation, international arbitration, and government and internal investigations. It's a plus if you have trial prep experience, experience drafting briefs, and taking depositions. They will consider candidates with a broad transactional practice with some M&A experience who are looking to focus on M&A full-time.
