Children unleashed their inner artists at M+'s Creative Day Camp! 🎨 This summer, M+ hosted an unforgettable Children's Summer Takeover: Creative Day Camp that transported kids (and some adventurous adults!) into a journey of imagination and growth.    Over three fun-filled days, young campers explored immersive, artist-led workshops — from building a ‘Neon Garden’ with artist Chankalun to crafting colorful paper pixel monster sculptures with creative duo Stickyline. They also discovered the museum's architecture and galleries through guided tours and imaginative games with M+ Educators. On the final day, campers teamed up with parents for shared learning experiences that tapped into their creative sides. #MPluMuseum #MPlus #MPlusWorkshop #Workshop #ChildrensSummerTakeover #CreativeDayCamp #SummerCamp #FamilyFun #ArtEducation #MuseumExperience

☁️ Immerse yourself in the fantastical world of A.A.Murakami in their brand-new free exhibition at M+, opening 31 August in The Studio. ‘A.A.Murakami: Floating World’ will feature two interlinked immersive installations which offer an otherworldly experience: one traces the journeys of physical fog rings travelling into the digital realm, and the other reveals an environment of floating bubble clouds. With transient materials and the innovative application of custom-built technology, these two large-scale installations inspire visitors to question philosophical ideas about the nature of reality, artifice, and the digital lives that we increasingly embody within today's contemporary landscape. A.A.Murakami (est. 2011) is a Tokyo- and London-based artist duo formed by Alexander Groves (b. 1983) and Azusa Murakami (b. 1984). Their multidisciplinary practice straddles the spheres of sculpture, installation, cinema, and digital art, creating experiences that augment their science-based inquiries with moments of daring and spectacle. 🔗 Learn more: mplus.org/aamurakami [1] Photo: A.A.Murakami, ‘Beyond the Horizon’, 2024. © A.A.Murakami.
