Recently, we organised an Oi Vendor Day with our valued vendors in Vietnam, aimed at strengthening our commitment to #sustainability in the #supplychain. In this virtual event, we had #collaborative and meaningful discussions and delved into four crucial sustainability topics: 1. Key sustainability-related regulations, especially for the EU 2. #Traceability in the supply chain: the concept, our approach, and the tool that we use 3. Climate-related initiatives we support, including an introduction to the Science Based Targets initiative #SBTi 4. Sustainable materials' requirements and innovations Going forward, we are committed to staying ahead of upcoming sustainability legislation to ensure our business partners - both customers and vendors - are well-prepared for implementation. A big thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of our #OiVendorDay. And here’s to more collaborative efforts in sustainability ahead!

We are happy to share that our new Dongguan office has officially opened! Earlier this week, our Senior Leadership team officially opened the location in an event attended by our Dongguan colleagues, as well as several members of our Shanghai team, who all came together to celebrate a significant moment for our organisation. Heidi Stevens kicked off the event with a speech, thanking everyone who helped with putting our new contemporary space together, and with Heidi observing local tradition by cutting a suckling pig, as well as a cake for all our colleagues. We’d also like to thank everyone who made the event possible, and to the whole Dongguan office: your patience and resilience throughout the whole renovation process is deeply appreciated.

Our Engagement at Hanseatic Help Earlier this month, a group of colleagues from our Hamburg office once again teamed up with Hanseatic Help e.V., an NGO that aims to provide clothing and other daily necessities to those in need. This time, our team helped to sort clothes and clean isomats donated from a heavy metal festival. The mats will be repurposed to provide warmth for homeless individuals during the harsh winter months. Thank you to the team for taking the time to give back to their local community! #CommunityService #Volunteering #SocialImpact

Last week, colleagues in our Hong Kong office took part in two rewarding activities in our local community, in partnership with two local NGOs. Here are the highlights: ● Food Angels: Our Hong Kong Corporate Responsibility Committee volunteered Food Angel by Bo Charity Foundation’s Sham Shui Po kitchen to prepare meal boxes for people in need. In two hours, our team, along with the other volunteers, prepared 2069 meal boxes for their lunchtime delivery. ● Visiting the Elderly: We partnered with the Banyan Services Association, a local NGO, to visit elderly residents of a public housing estate. Our group of volunteers spent the afternoon with underprivileged seniors living alone due to physical limitations, family, or financial situations. The team gifted them with bags of food and daily necessities, as well as spent the afternoon chatting with them in their houses. It's these moments of human #connection that truly define how we make an #impact beyond our office walls. Thank you to everyone involved! #CorporateResponsibility #CommunityService
