After the summer break, the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia kicked off with a thrilling weekend of triple-header races at PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia. In round 10, our Yonda BWT team’s star driver Dylan Pereira, showcased the true prowess of a Porsche Supercup champion. Building on his performance in the first daytime race, Dylan executed a bold and ingenious strategy in the night race. Starting from 4th on the grid, he took a bold outside racing lane to surge from the fourth corner straight to the lead, quickly establishing a commanding advantage. Maintaining a lead of at least 0.6 seconds throughout, Dylan ultimately crossed the finish line 1.6 seconds ahead of the pack. 26th place! Phantom Global Racing finished its first 24-hour race! In a very eventful race, with changing weather, we managed to remain unscathed and keep a good pace. Great drivers, great car, great team! A brake issue, a puncture, in a very highly competitive race, it doesn't take much more to drop in the ranks… A bit of bad luck with the timings of the safety car, and you double your loss. An eventful racing day at Fuji International Speedway during the GT World Challenge Asia! The rainy conditions made for a contrasted and eventful race for the Phantom Global Racing drivers. 🌧 After a great race yesterday, Joel Eriksson's #93 was unfortunately pushed into the wall by another car after a collision ahead, forcing him to withdraw. 📢 Jaxon Evans and Sun Jingzu had an excellent run, fighting at the front and finishing 4th overall (3rd in Pro/Am).
