🌟 Exciting Day for PMI-HK Chapter! 🌟 This morning, we proudly launched the PMI-HK Chapter IGNITE Program 2024 with a vibrant Kick-Off Ceremony, co-organized in collaboration with the Big Data Intelligence Centre of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong! 🎉 Event Highlights: Welcome Speeches: We were honored to kick off the event with motivating speeches from our esteemed President, Ms. Christine Yau , and Dr. George Ho , Associate Professor from the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. Their insights set a positive tone for an inspiring day ahead! 🙏 Keynote Address: Our keynote speaker, Dr. Danny Chung, Region Advisor (R9) of PMI, captivated us with his talk on "Navigating Tomorrow: Are Your Skills Future Ready?" His discussion emphasized the importance of evolving skills in a rapidly changing world, encouraging all attendees to prepare for the future of project management. 🌍💡 Skill Sharing Session: We also enjoyed a valuable skill-sharing session led by Mr. Kenny Wong , Executive Vice President (Internal) of PMI-HK Chapter. He provided practical tips on how to manage university studies as a project, equipping our mentees with essential strategies for academic success. 📚🔧 Program Overview: We are thrilled to welcome 29 enthusiastic mentees from various universities. They will be guided by our dedicated team of 9 mentors: Mr. Adrian Co, PMP , Mr. Alex Fung , Mr. Alex Wong , Ms. Christine Yau , Dr. Danny Chung , Mr. Howard Cheung , Mr. Kenny Wong , Mr. Samuel Lai , and Mr. Wilson Yau, FCRP, DTM, MSc(ML), MBus, PMP, PMgr . Together, we are committed to fostering a supportive learning environment. 🤝 The IGNITE Program spans 7 months and is designed to provide mentees with hands-on experiences and practical knowledge. Participants can look forward to a dynamic lineup of activities, including: • Project Management 101 • GenAI Training • Company Visits • Presentation Skills Workshops Our Goals: The primary objective of this program is to leverage the rich industrial experience of our mentors to share real project insights with our mentees.
