This season, our team partnered with HandsOn Hong Kong to spend time with elderly residents, joining them on shopping trips and helping carry their purchases home. This initiative aims to improve access to essential goods and foster social connections among seniors. We are delighted to support this meaningful endeavor and enjoyed spending time with some great members of our community!
Polymer Hong Kong team came together again to participate in the Bloomberg Square Mile Relay this year. Every team member is giving their best effort to complete the race! ! We hosted a fun after-party to share the joy, celebrating the team’s achievement and hard work.

This year, we teamed up once again with Bloomberg and Citymeals on Wheels to pack emergency shelf-stable meals for homebound elderly at Bloomberg office. Our USA team formed a group of 15 members and divided into small groups to pack 100 meals each team. We hope these meals will help support vulnerable homebound elderly during emergencies, especially in harsh winter weather.
Last Friday, we concluded our #PolymerIntervarsityESGCaseChallenge 2024. Congratulations to Team Golden Gate Capital from the Nanyang Technological University for winning this year’s competition. This year, we received over 120 team applications and selected 4 outstanding finalist teams from National University of Singapore, The University of Hong Kong, Nanyang Technological University Singapore and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology to present their investment pitches based on the World Benchmarking Alliance’s Just Transition Benchmark. At Polymer, we believe in the power of youth, and we look forward to continuing our #YouthEmpowerment journey with each and every one of you.
Our Taiwan team partnered with the Garden of Hope Foundation, helping to protect disadvantaged women and children. Our team visited one of their centers in LinKou, sharing a delightful morning with their Asian Women team for a fun and interactive sushi-making session, and an afternoon tea preparation for the children's community. After the sushi-marking, we enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by the Asian Women team. It was a humbling experience and a great opportunity for us to give back to the local community in Taiwan.
