Aligning with the heartfelt desire to create ripples of social impact wherever they go, Dymonites partnered with Glyph, dedicated to combating inequality in Asia. Dymonites volunteers spent a meaningful Saturday morning with a group of kids from Glyph Community at Project Dignity Pte Ltd's Dignity Kitchen, learning sign language and preparing home-made butter cookies and plum sauce rojak. An enriching time spent beyond their usual environments for all the participants. This little break from everyone’s hectic lives giving all a chance to learn something new that morning.   For Dymonites, the reward is two-fold, for not only have they helped to make the world a kinder place for the future generation, but they have also experienced the joy that accompanies the loving labour of community-building.    As such, we gratefully thank Glyph & Project Dignity Pte Ltd for making this wonderful event possible!    #DymonAsia #Dymonites #CSR #MakingADifference #Community 

Thrilled to share that our co-founder and co-CIO, Danny Yong, was a panellist at the Goldman Sachs European Hedge Fund Symposium in Rome. The panel, titled "A Discussion on Opportunities in Asia," was moderated by Shiv Srinivasan, CIO of the Abu Dhabi Investment Council, and featured other prominent investors in the Asian markets.   Danny highlighted that Asia has rich alpha opportunities. He shared that the best Asian Multi Strategy funds have been tracking the performance of the top global multi-strategy funds, but with close to zero correlation, thanks to Asia’s diverse and idiosyncratic markets.   He also pointed out the significant growth in market depth across key Asian markets like India, Japan, China, and South Korea, which have seen an increase ranging from 50 to 250% in the last five years.   It's clear that Asia continues to be a vibrant and dynamic landscape for investors, offering unique opportunities that stand apart from global trends. #Investment #Asia #DymonAsia

In celebration of World Music Day, Dymon Asia is spotlighting @Dhiren, our musically talented Business Development director. Dhiren excels at maintaining a thriving multi-strategy investment fund and enhancing our Business Intelligence capabilities.   The secret behind Dhiren’s success is his affinity for innovation and his embracing of music's endless possibilities. Not only has music eased his assimilation into the 8 countries that he has lived in, but it has also enhanced his creative thinking and opened doors to diverse experiences.   For example, having taught himself music production through Ableton Live (a creative set of tools for music makers), he has gone on to perform at art exhibits and some house parties.   For Dhiren, a life without music would be nothing more than a joyless vacuum, for it is music that enriches his personal and professional journey. As committed community builders, 15 Dymonites from our Hong Kong office spent last Friday on a Kindness Walk co-organised with @ImpactHK, an organisation that cares for homeless Hongkongers at risk of physical and mental stress. With empathy and compassion, Dymonite volunteers distributed daily necessities such as water, fruits, eggs and personal hygiene items to the homeless community. Dymonites found this experience profoundly meaningful. May was Mental Health Awareness Month, and we wrapped up a successful series of initiatives focused on prioritising mental health and well-being.  Beyond company-wide activities like our complimentary health screenings, the Singapore Dymon Recreation Club also organised a series of sport activities, encouraging our Dymonites to embrace a healthy work-life balance. These included tennis sessions at the newly opened Kallang Tennis Hub and a spin class where 30 Dymonites got to destress, bond and get their sweat on.  These well-deserved breaks not only empower our employees to live their best lives but also enable them to recharge and maximise their overall productivity. Prioritising mental health is an ongoing journey and we encourage all Dymonites to continue to taking charge of their well-being. We’re excited to announced that Dymon Asia’s Hong Kong office will be upgraded to a new 7,000 square-foot office in Edinburgh Tower later this year!  With the new space, our Hong Kong office will be able to accommodate more than 70 employees, doubling our current capacity and supporting our continued growth in the region. To quote our Deputy CEO and Managing Partner, Kenneth Kan, Hong Kong remains a key strategic market for Dymon Asia and the new office space will cater to an increasing number of Dymonites choosing Hong Kong as their base. Last weekend, we celebrated Dymon Asia’s Infrastructure offsite on the stunning island of Penang 🏖️🌊, marking our first regional gathering after five years. This was also our first post-pandemic offsite for our non-investment teams, bringing together Dymonites from across Asia.   Under the theme “Growing Together: Fostering Teamwork and Sustainability,” our event was meticulously planned to strengthen and reinvigorate our “Dymonite” team spirit.   From the vibrant Welcome Banquet to the insightful department sharing at the Kebaya Ballroom, the enriching visit to the Centre for Marine & Coastal Studies and the beach cleanup; we connected, learned from each other, and created lasting memories together.   Here's to continuing our journey of hard work and fun, united in our mission and values. “Beyond prioritising our Dymonites’ mental and physical well-being, we are also passionate about giving back to the community. As an extension of this commitment, four dedicated Dymonites recently spent a meaningful day at @Causes for Animals.   Our volunteers contributed by cleaning kennels and common areas, but most importantly, spending quality time with the dogs at the shelter. CAS's mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome stray and abandoned animals truly resonates with us. Through programs like Trap-Neuter- Release and community outreach, they strive for a Stray Free Singapore.   We're proud to support CAS in their lifesaving work for homeless and unwanted companion animals. This May, for Mental Health Awareness Month, Dymon Asia is proud to announce a series of initiatives focused on employee well-being. We believe a holistic approach to well-being includes both mental and physical health. That’s why we recently partnered with @Minmed Group Pte Ltd to offer complimentary health screenings to our Singapore Dymonites. The first screening, held last week, saw positive response with 36 employees signing up for the first of two sessions. Encouraging Dymonites to prioritise their overall well-being is a core value.
