About us

We are a multinational conglomerate with a global footprint across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Our diverse portfolio encompasses education, travel & leisure, wellness and lifestyle, direct selling, luxury goods, retail, and more. With a global workforce exceeding 2,000 individuals across our group's entities, we are committed to cultivating an environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our commitment to sustainability is evident in our meat-free operations and the elimination of single-use plastics across our offices. We are also a proud Forum Partner of the World Economic Forum (WEF), a Horasis Global Visions Community member, and a member of the UN Global Compact. At the heart of our operations is a steadfast commitment to creating positive impact, both within our organisation and the communities we serve. From our inception in 1998, we have been driven by a vision of a world where individuals and communities thrive. This vision is realised through our diverse business ventures and guided by our unwavering dedication to social responsibility. Our ethos, RYTHM (Raise Yourself To Help Mankind), lies at the core of everything we do. Our successful journey thus far is proof that incremental progress can lead to extraordinary outcomes. We have learned that extraordinary achievements are built brick by brick, day by day. Our Founders, Vijay Eswaran and Joseph Bismark instilled in us the belief that progress, no matter how small, is a victory. This enduring principle has guided us on our journey, shaping us into the organisation we are today, where we harness the power of human potential to create an environment where our diverse employees can flourish. Since our inception in 1998, the QI Group has been a strong advocate of plant-based diets! 🌿 We firmly believe that this practice is crucial to ensure environmental sustainability for future generations.  Our commitment runs deep: all QI Group corporate events and offices worldwide are 100% meat-free! We care because our planet is heating up, and excessive, cruel animal agriculture practices contribute to 20-30% of all global greenhouse gas emissions. Replace meat with vegetarian sources of protein, and you can help reduce this percentage. This #WorldVegetarianDay, try a meat-free diet – see for yourself just how easy it can be to help nature and the climate. And do remember to spread the message about the many benefits of going meat-free! Watch this video to find out how you can get started! #SustainableLiving #MeatFree #PlantBased ##Vegetarian

At QI, we believe in the transformative power of volunteerism. We see it as a force that can ripple far beyond our office walls. Our Employee Community Impact (ECI) initiative brings this belief to life. Our global team dedicates their time to a variety of causes such as education for all, health awareness and environmental sustainability. We are delighted to share that our Philippines office was recently awarded the Excellence in Employee Volunteerism Award at the HR Excellence Awards Philippines 2024 by Human Resources Online. This prestigious recognition acknowledges our sustained employee volunteer efforts, which include quarterly blood donation drives, youth archery clinics, breast cancer awareness seminars, coastal cleanups, and much more. This honour is more than just a trophy for us. It celebrates the dedication and compassion our team pours into making a difference. Here’s a glimpse of the award ceremony. #Employee #Volunteerism #SocialImpact #RYTHM #empowerment

Imagine a world where every child, regardless of their abilities, can be a force for positive change.  That's the mission behind the recently launched Zero Waste Project at the Taarana school, a centre for children with special needs established by our social impact arm, RYTHM Foundation. This initiative empowers neurodiverse students with the knowledge and skills to reduce waste, recycle, and become environmental stewards. By cultivating these values from a young age, we are helping them make a positive impact on the world while fostering a sense of responsibility. RYTHM Chairperson Umayal Eswaran and QI Directors recently visited Taarana to launch this initiative, aligning with our commitment to shaping a sustainable future for generations to come. Let's join the movement to make our world a little greener, one recycled item at a time!  #ZeroWaste #Neurodiversity #Sustainability #GreenFuture

Our greatest wealth is our health. It's a simple truth, but one we often overlook in our busy lives.   Recently, our Malaysia office partnered with Naluri - Employee Health & Wellness, our wellness service provider, to host a Health Day promoting holistic health.    From nutritious smoothie-making sessions to insightful health talks, our employees at QI Tower participated in informative activities designed to boost both physical and mental well-being.   Our commitment to wellness goes beyond our health products. It isn't about ticking boxes or following trends; it’s about creating a work space where each of us can thrive—mind, body, and spirit.   A big thank you to Naluri for their expertise, and to our fantastic staff for their enthusiasm in embracing a healthier future!   Here’s to many more days of learning, growing, and yes, blending together!   #EmployeeWellness #HealthIsWealth #Holistic #Culture

Growth doesn't dilute culture; it strengthens it. At QI, we believe that even as we expand our global footprint, it is vital that our employees remain tightly knit. Our leadership team consistently makes the effort to connect with our teams worldwide, ensuring everyone feels valued and aligned with our mission. Our Director of Network Affairs & IT, TG Kintanar, recently visited our Hong Kong headquarters. Speaking to our employees there, he emphasised the profound impact that each of us has on our customers and communities. He reminded the team that every action, no matter how small, is a crucial part of our collective success.  While we’ve grown as a company, we strive not to lose sight of what truly matters: our people. As we evolve, we remain committed to stepping up together so that every team member feels connected and inspired! #EmployeeEngagement #GlobalTeam #LeadershipConnect #Culture

In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, adaptability isn't just an asset; it's a necessity. Our Group Chief Communications Officer, Ramya Chandrasekaran, recently shared her expertise as a panelist at the prestigious PR Asia Conference in Malaysia by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE. She contributed to a compelling discussion on "You're Cancelled! The Good, Bad, and Ugly of Influencer Marketing", addressing a pressing challenge in today's brand-building landscape.  The panel delved into the intricacies of managing influencer controversies and safeguarding brand integrity—topics that resonate deeply in our current era of heightened social consciousness.  Here are some takeaways from her panel session: ➡️ Quality over Quantity: Micro and nano influencers can often deliver more impactful results than celebrities due to their engaged audiences.  ➡️ Due Diligence: Thoroughly vet potential influencers to avoid future risks.  ➡️ Navigating Controversy: Be prepared to address potential controversies with tact and strategy.  ➡️ Luxury Brands' Advantage: Established luxury brands often have a loyal customer base that can help mitigate the impact of influencer controversies. At QI, we believe that staying relevant means staying informed. Our participation in events like the PR Asia Conference reflects our dedication to not just keeping pace with the industry but also helping shape its future. #communications #PR #brandbuilding #conference
