For the past couple of weeks we had the pleasure to visit over 100 clients across many parts of Hong Kong (in 🌞, 🌧 and 🌪 ) and we are grateful for the opportunity to introduce our new colleagues and capabilities to our long standing partners. Here’s a few observations throughout our meetings :  1) There is still a strong demand for talents, especially those with proven track record in leading business through adversity 🌊. 2) The challenge for hiring and grooming junior candidates 👦 👧 remains. More and more companies have made use of the various talent schemes to bring onboard new blood, with different degrees of success. 3) The need for secondment contract roles outgrows that of permanent headcounts 📈. More talents accept employment on secondment contract basis and this is good for bridging the talent gap for both projects and operational needs. Last Friday Rise Associates Asia Limited concluded a fantastic and busy August with a visit to Hong Kong Housing Society's Elderly Resources Centre (ERC) for an educational and experiential tour. 🌟 💗 We were impressed with how much HKHS has done in creating age-friendly living places that improve the convenience and safety of the elderly and their caretakers. 🏘🛋️ We had a lot of fun experimenting with the gerontechnologies, and some of us are already thinking about adopting the friendly home designs in their home environment for their elder family members! ✨ The visit has given us much insights into the history and mission of Housing Society, and we look forward to our continuous partnership with this professional home creator of Hong Kong.😊🤝 We are excited for the opportunity to share their story, and we look forward to contributing further in bringing more awareness and solutions to elderly care and housing issues in Hong Kong. 📣🌍 #HousingSociety #HKHS #SustainableLiving #RiseAsia

Wrapping up a Great Q2 with Sunshine 🌞 We ended the busy quarter with a junk trip to South Bay and it was an absolute blast. 🤩 The day was filled with fun group activities, delicious food 🍔🍕 and some much-needed vitamin D! 🌴 We had a great time relaxing and bonding with others over delicious catered meals. It was wonderful to spend quality time together outside of the office, strengthening the personal connections that are so vital to our collaborative work. After months of heads-down effort to drive key initiatives forward, the day provided the perfect chance to soak up the sun, share laughs, and return to our desks a few shades darker but fully recharged. 🔋 The junk trip was a truly memorable experience, allowing us to reset and get energized for the second half of the year. It's events like these that demonstrate our commitment to fostering a positive company culture. We visited NEOM's Discovery Exhibition at the M+ Museum and was thoroughly impressed about this mega development project. The regions of The Line, Trojena and Sindalah all seem to be architectural visions where new sustainable ways of living are being explored and developed. We were also excited about how Hong Kong talents and companies have contributed to this project and other green sustainable projects across the globe - further demonstrating that local talents can make global impacts! We will be keeping a close eye on this ambitious project and look forward to potential partnerships.
