The Hari Hong Kong is delighted to have the second and third editions of The Hari Chronicles, an ongoing series of conversations about art, design and culture in Hong Kong in partnership with Ben Brown Fine Arts, featuring artists Enoc Perez and Kitty Chou on 26 September and 9 October 2024 respectively. Enoc shared insights into his latest series featuring Bacardi rum bottles, exploring the seductive promises of consumerism and the reflections of personal dreams and disillusionment, moderated by Dr. Michael Ng. Kitty shared her “accidental” photographic journey, with fascinating insights into her creative process and unique style, beautifully moderated by Desiree Au. Kitty’s captivating work, now on display in The Lounge and Zoku, offers a fresh perspective on the art of spontaneous capture. On this International Day of Awareness on Food Loss and Waste Reduction, we are delighted to share that from January to June 2024, we have successfully recycled 2,642 kg of food waste, thereby mitigating 5,020 kg of CO2 emissions. By emulating natural digestion processes, Orca's innovative food waste solution efficiently transforms food waste into an environmentally safe liquid, which is subsequently captured or repurposed by wastewater treatment plants. This process significantly reduces harmful emissions from the traditional truck and bin collection process.
