With the recent enforcement of the European Union Artificial Intelligence Act (EU AI Act) on 1 August 2024, we are witnessing the birth of the first comprehensive legal framework aimed at regulating AI globally.   EU AI Act introduces a risk-based approach to AI practices, establishing stricter security requirements and setting a precedent for other jurisdictions to follow. As companies in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland engage in multi-jurisdictional business, it is essential to grasp the evolving governance and regulatory challenges that come with this shift.   Join us for an insightful seminar where we will discuss (1) the implications of the EU AI Act on global best practices; (2) strategies for responsible AI risk management; and (3) how to navigate the diverging regulatory landscapes across the globe.   Please register at: Physical: https://lnkd.in/gJyjSmit Online: https://lnkd.in/gm4yh3jD
