Annual Convocation 2024 On 7 October 2024, the Institute hosted the Annual Convocation at the Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Centre with over 200 participants in attendance. This is an annual significant event which recognises new Fellows, Associates, Graduates and student awardees for their achievements in the year 2023/2024. This year, we were honoured to have Dr Anthony Neoh QC SC JP FCG HKFCG – recipient of the HKCGI Prize 2023 – as our Guest of Honour. At the ceremony, Institute President, Mr David Simmonds FCG HKFCG delivered welcome remarks. Dr Neoh then shared his wisdom on ‘Six Pivotal Events and Six Ideas’ that shaped Hong Kong and the new generation. An awardee of the CGQP Merit Certificate, Mr Ginger Keung also gave reflection remarks on his journey to becoming a governance professional.
