Our consultant Ms. Dora Chow from the Hong Kong litigation and dispute resolution team and partner of our Beijing office Mr. Jihong Chen, were invited by the Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute to give a seminar on Cross border Data Transfer. Together with other speakers, the seminar delved into the complexities of cross-border data transfer between Mainland China and Hong Kong. The seminar also provided the relevant knowledge to businesses and governance professionals, allowing them to navigate practical challenges and avoid potential pitfalls. The seminar attracted over 80 attendees with case studies and interactive Q&A sections.

Zoe specializes in transactional and contentious real estate practice. She frequently handles large-scale redevelopment projects for property developers under the Land (Compulsory Sale for Redevelopment) Ordinance (Cap. 545), property transactions including acquisitions and disposals of properties as well as tenancy matters. Zoe also represents clients in land-related litigation involving contractual disputes, building management disputes and departmental summons cases from time to time. Denise advises land developers, listed companies and licensed banks on real estate related matters including project conveyancing, acquisition and disposal of agricultural, residential, commercial and industrial properties, resumption and exchange of New Territories lands, compliance with first-hand sale legislations, building management matters, mortgage actions and recovery of possession of lands, acquisition and disposal of property-holding companies as well as industrial, commercial and residential tenancies.
