The role


Harneys is looking for a talented HR & Recruitment Advisor to join our expanding team in Hong Kong


What you'll be doing


As a Recruitment Advisor (RA), you will be pivotal in attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent primarily across our offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and China.

Your role will ensure that all recruitment activities adhere to the principles of Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI), fostering an equitable and inclusive hiring process. Additionally, as a member of the HR team, you will contribute to HR administrative tasks, supporting the overall HR function.


Who you'll be working with


You will collaborate closely with the Senior HR Managers (SHRM), and other key stakeholders to assist in developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies that align with our firm's objectives and culture.


Duties & Responsibilities


The post holder will be responsible for and expected to carry out the following duties:


Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract diverse and top talent for the region.
  • Conduct market research to identify talent trends and salary and benefits trends.
  • Collaborate with the Senior HR Manager and other leaders to align recruitment strategies with firm goals.


Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, developing and maintaining interview guides, interviewing and selection (when needed).
  • Utilize various recruitment channels such as job boards, social media, recruitment agencies, career fairs and networking events.
  • Work with the SHRMs and hiring managers to create and maintain job descriptions and requirements.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within the legal or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices in Asia
  • Demonstrated commitment to JEDI principles in previous roles.
  • Familiarity with various recruitment channels and tools.
  • Excellent organisational and reporting skills.
