A HealthTeach company is looking for an experienced IT Manager who has hands on experience in network administration as well as system engineering to join their team. You will be responsible for managing an infrastructure with 100+ users in the office as well as an opportunity to explore APAC greenfiled projects.
The Job
System Engineering:
Design, deploy, and manage server infrastructure, primarily Linux and VMWARE environments.
Perform system installations, configurations, upgrades, and maintenance.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize server resources.
Server Setup And Administration
Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers, including operating system patches and updates.
Set up and manage VMWARE virtualization infrastructure, including virtual machines and clusters.
Monitor server health, performance, and capacity planning.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define server requirements and recommend hardware/software solutions.
Implement server hardening techniques and security best practices.
Network Administration
Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and VPN connections.
Configure and troubleshoot network switches, routers, and firewalls.
Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
Ensure network security and enforce access controls.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve network-related issues.
Firewall Management
Configure, monitor, and manage firewalls to protect network infrastructure.
Develop and enforce firewall policies and rules.
The Person
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline
Minimum 10 years of working experience with at least 5 years as managerial role
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in network administration - certificate in CCNP is desired
In-depth understanding of network protocols, firewall concepts, and network security best practices.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) highly desired
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Good command of verbal and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
