IT PMO Director - IT Transformation & ERP Focus

We are currently seeking a highly skilled PMO / PM Director to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in project management, as well as experience in finance-related projects, to help drive our strategic objectives and optimize our operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the PMO function within the IT department, ensuring the successful delivery of projects aligned with the company's strategic goals.
• Develop and implement PMO processes, tools, and policies to standardize project management practices and facilitate effective project execution.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of IT projects, including those with a significant finance component, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables that support business goals.
• Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular reports to senior management on project status, risks, and issues.
• Manage the PMO budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support project priorities.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in IT project management and finance project management, incorporating these into PMO operations to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management within an IT environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing a PMO.
• Experience in managing finance-related projects is preferred
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and navigate challenging situations.
• Fluent in project management software and tools, with a keen understanding of how technology can be used to improve project outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, driving performance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
