We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in the entertainment and events industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth for the company.


What you will do:

  • As the Team lead to develop local/international entertainment products for Hong Kong & Macau, incl. music concert, art & culture exhibitions, festival event, sports and leisure events products through cultivation of relationships with local/international partners to help maximize their sales potential on Klook platform
  • Manage, operate and keep improving the Klook event ticketing system following the industry trend and consumer journey/behavior by working closely with central tech team
  • Develop clear Entertainment & Event vertical strategy, acquisition tactics and P&L structure through data analytics to increase Klook market share vs competitors and maximize business revenue
  • Develop entertainment & event products that have opportunity to combo with inbound or outbound Klook travel products to maximize the business opportunity with the new travel norm
  • Work closely with across functions, i.e. marketing, tech & other vertical team to create optimize product promotion plan to maximize sales potential while at the same time providing the best product experiences and operations efficiency to customer
  • As one of the key members of the HKBU leadership team to build and shape the culture of the BU to inherit Klook value.


What you will need:

  • 6+ years of work experience including 2-3+ in Entertainment & event industry, preferably previous experience as venue/event organizer, ticketing, record labels and artists management related brands with key responsibility on business development.
  • A good track record on leadership in event & ticketing system management
  • Strong industry network, commercial sense, analytical skills, written and verbal communications skills on presentation & mature interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and coaching ability to lead and transform a versatile and dynamic entertainment & event team
  • Strong negotiator, relationship and rapport builder both internal and external
  • Start-up attitude – highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your sleeves attitude
  • Business language proficiency for Cantonese, English & Mandarin
