Separately, an upcoming revision to the definition of the concept of residue is expected to include the pathways through which phosphonic acid contaminates food, and remove references to fosetyl, which will therefore no longer be assessed as part of safety assessments. 1 day, 6 jobs 💼 In collaboration with France Travail, Eurofins Environment Testing France recently welcomed several jobseekers with disabilities to their Hénin-Beaumont site. The jobseekers embarked on a tour of their laboratory facilities and “shadowed” six employees with different professions to get a taste of various types of roles within the Eurofins network of laboratories that they might enjoy. 🌊 In the mood for a summer swim? Recently, our colleagues from Eurofins Environment Testing in #Denmark welcomed the new season with a festive lineup of activities. 🥼 As a first of the summer season, an inaugural water sample analysis was conducted to ensure the water quality meets the safety and health standards of the Blue Flag beach certification scheme. 🌏 Meet Thao Tran Quang, a Sample Preparation and Lean Manager from the Food and Feed Testing department in #Vietnam. Alongside his contributions to his team, he also supports the Eurofins network in our carbon reduction efforts in his role as a #CO2Champion. Across our global network, our CO2 Champions support the goal of reaching carbon neutrality by #2025 through the collection of carbon-footprint data and the coordination of reduction initiatives. 🥽 During his time within the Eurofins network, Thao has gained a unique set of experiences, ranging from developing new multitasking skills within his role, attending fulfilling team-building trips and even discovering a newfound passion for running! Our colleagues at Eurofins Cerep in France are gearing up for the #OlympicGames 2024 (Jeux olympiques 2024) which will begin this week in Paris! 🏃 Did you know that the colourful Olympic rings, as replicated by our colleagues in Celle-Lévescault, are based on a design first conceptualised by Frenchman Pierre de Coubertin (known as the father of the modern Olympic Games) over 110 years ago! Did you know that 2.2 billion people still lack access to safe drinking water? 💧 In the Rewari District of the state of Haryana in India, where there are only 759 water connections to cater to the water needs of over one million people, there is a massive accessibility gap when it comes to clean water which affects countless lives. 🌊 In 2023/2024, the Eurofins Foundation stepped up to make a difference. We supported Humana People to People India and Keysight Technologies’ efforts to provide clean, affordable water to 300 households through solar enabled Reverse Osmosis water filtration. ☀️ What’s more, any wastewater from the filtration systems is stored and repurposed for irrigation in nearby fields! 🌾 The Eurofins Foundation was delighted to support this life-changing initiative and address water scarcity head-on. 💦 #Eurofins #EurofinsFoundation #India #WaterForAll #Sustainability
