Marketing Officer (Racing Sports Marketing)

The Department

The Racing Marketing Department holds the responsibility for devising the overall marketing strategy and executing it for our racecourses and major race events. This includes creating engaging social content to generate public interest and participation in the sport of horse racing.

The Job

• Assists the Assistant Marketing Manager in promoting racing as a professional sport through various channels, including sports media, elite athletes, sports professionals, and other sports events.
• Participating in the development of thematic campaigns, the individual collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders.
• The individual contributes to building awareness and enhancing the reputation of the Racing Talent Training Centre in both Mainland China and Hong Kong. They also play a role in recruiting the next generation of jockeys and other equine professionals.
• The individual actively participates in the development of content and story angles for our social media platforms.
• Support the ad hoc projects assigned
• Perform race duties whenever necessary
  
  
  

About You

• A university degree in Marketing or related disciplines
• A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in general marketing, preferably with experience in digital marketing, event management, social media and content marketing
• Great team player with high personal effectiveness.
• A creative mind-set and a good understanding of young generation cultures.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and project management skills.
• Proficiency in English & Chinese
• Experience in managing China social media is a plus
• Knowledge of creative and commercials/ print production
• Knowledge of advertising discipline, especially in media and social media
• Knowledge of events management
