About This Team
The Retail Operations team is comprised of people that know a little bit about everything and a lot about most things within lululemon. We touch all aspects of the store operations, including making sure stores are seeing positive results that meet and exceed company goals. You are passionate about supporting our stores, and the best in the world at completing complex projects in record time by prioritizing, simplifying, aligning, communicating, SSC to store communication and global programs.
In partnership with other store and SSC leaders, Retail Operations works on new initiatives that elevate and support the demands of running a store. Simply put, Retail Operations is responsible for making the complex simple and getting sh*t done. The Retail Product Operations Manager is responsible for creating and delivering best-in-class product and hemming operational solutions for our stores and guests. We define in-store product operational processes that bring our product vision to life, drive in-season sell through and maximize business results.

A Day In The Life
- Identify and deliver on Retail Operations priorities to drive solutions providing options and impacts to key stakeholders driving decision making while mitigating store-facing risk
- Identify gaps and areas to elevate the business and bring the right department partners together to create sustainable processes and impactful solutions
- Drives strategic collaboration with cross functional leadership teams to identify opportunities for integrations, improvements and lead change management initiatives with cross functional departments.
- Responsible for optimising and maintaining existing vehicles of communication between the product team and retail.
- Leads cross functional collaboration with key partners to support the creation, maintenance and delivery of SOP’s for inventory management, this includes but is not limited to: shipping, receiving, and operational shrink management.
- Responsible for Hemming Program within APAC working with cross functional partners, vendors and in market retail operations.
- Drive the optimisation of retail markdown strategies & processes in partnership with product team.
- Responsible for streamlining, operationalizing and optimising critical milestones during commercial sale events.
- Facilitate and lead collaboration within the product exit strategy, optimizing outlet operations.
- Responsible for driving bespoke regional product operations initiatives. For example: operationalizing product personalization
- Accountable for delivering urgent solutions when issues impact store operations to ensure stores maintain profitability
- Delivering additional projects, duties, and assignment as required and/or requested by their leader
- 5+ years experience ideally within a retail environment
- Project Management experience or relevant experience
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivated with a flexible approach to the work required and ability to project manage multiple workstream
- Ability to organize, analyze, and summarize complex information to make data-driven decisions
- Seeks out technology to improve processes and efficiency
- Proactively identify and solve complex problems with significant impact on the business
- Ability to see the larger picture and understand how decisions impact and influence the larger business
