Position Purpose:

Reporting to the Country Manager, we are seeking an experienced leader with extensive brand & marketing expertise to further develop our local and travel retail businesses. As a Senior Brand Manager, you will need to value diversity and possess a strong strategic as well as operational mindset to succeed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth & profitability; spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive brand strategies that align with LUXASIA's overall business objectives and the unique positioning of each brand.
  • Enhance brand equity & market presence; oversee all aspects of brand marketing, including commercial and business relations, to elevate brand awareness, engagement, and market presence.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships; establish & nurture strong relationships with global brand partners to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
  • Optimize product assortment, pricing & promotions; collaborate with sales and commercial teams to develop and implement effective channel strategies, optimizing product assortment, pricing, and promotions across channels to maximize profitability.
  • Conduct market research & analysis; continuously conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges, informing strategic decision-making and ensuring brand relevance.
  • Manage & mentor a high-performing team; lead and mentor a team of brand managers and marketing professionals, providing guidance, fostering a culture of collaboration, and driving individual and team success.

 

 

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in leading and managing brands in the cosmetics and lifestyle industry, with a track record of driving business growth, enhancing brand equity, and achieving financial targets.
  • Possess a deep understanding of high-end niche lifestyle brands, their target audiences, and the unique dynamics of the cosmetics and lifestyle market.
  • Exhibit exceptional strategic thinking and brand expertise, with the ability to develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies that align with business objectives and drive market leadership.
  • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and a results-oriented mindsets, with a proven ability to translate brand strategies into tangible business outcomes.
  • Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, motivate, and lead diverse teams across different cultures and functions.
  • Fluency in both English & Chinese, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
