Appreciation post for BlockSplit conference, what a week! We talked a lot about crypto regulation (who would say? :D), firstly on The Reg3 Conference - Split Fork organised by Nikola Škorić & Filip Šaravanja and then on the MainStage of BlockSplit. Regulation was discussed in the light of #MiCA entering into application, #AML rules, and beyond, as well as current regulatory framework in Croatia. Thank you BlockSplit, you have outdone yourself again this year!

For me personally, the highlights were:  🌍 The Plurality talks with amazing Audrey Tang and E. Glen Weyl and their inspiring insights on digital democracy. 🔥14 extraordinary startups that were selected to pitch their innovations on the Startup stage. Congratulations again to the winners: penomo, Route3 and Veli. You did an amazing job! 👩🔬 Deep dives into Decentralized Science (DeSci) that expanded our horizons. We organized the DeSci track for the second time and we see a lot of opportunities in this space. Thanks to Joshua Bate, Leonie R., Friederike Kleinfercher, Una Sokcevic, Albert Anis Bharat H., Boris J. Nachtsheim, Philipp Koellinger, Veronica Kirin, Manuel Constantin Olariu, Tomaso Aste and all others who were a part of our DeSci program. 🤝 Networking sessions and interactive workshops where we had a chance to connect on topics of interest and meet new people.
