At NVL d.o.o., we believe it’s about the perfect combination of talent, innovation, and responsibility. On Friday, 15 November 2024, we had the honour of participating in the 64th anniversary celebration of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Rijeka. During the event, our HR Manager presented a one-time scholarship to one of the Faculty’s exceptional graduates, a recent Master of Mechanical Engineering, in recognition of outstanding academic achievements. For us, this moment wasn’t just about celebrating individual accomplishments. It was about investing in a generation of engineers who will tackle some of the world’s most pressing challenges—climate change, resource efficiency, and sustainable innovation. Now part of the NVL d.o.o. team, this talented engineer embodies what’s possible when academia and industry work hand in hand. 🌟 Internships at NVL d.o.o.: Building Skills, Exploring Opportunities 🌟 At NVL d.o.o., we believe internships should be a dynamic adventure, where young minds can discover their true potential, develop fresh perspectives, and gain a foothold in the maritime industry. A few months ago, we welcomed R.T. and L.H. to our Rijeka office, where they spent three months learning, collaborating, and delivering real-world results. R.T., an Electrical and Information Engineering student, focused on reviewing supplier offers and creating technical documentation, while L.H., a Mechanical Engineering student, explored sustainable propulsion systems and worked on technical modelling. Both brought fresh perspectives to their teams and left a positive mark. During their Croatian stint, they traded theories for real-life experiences, picking up nuances of the local culture and forging bonds that will stay with them forever. Now, they’re eagerly waiting for their colleagues to continue this enriching exchange. To help top talent reach its full potential, we're creating a workplace culture that encourages innovation and collaboration – internships like these are just the start.
