We have finished an amazing first Dry needling course in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. 🇻🇳 Since Vietnam is right next to China it is no surprise that more than 50% of our students were already medical doctors who regularly do acupuncture and we have to thank them for the trust that they have given us to learn new and completely different but similar technique in their eyes. How to perform SAFE Dry needling protocol for Transversospinales muscles: 1️⃣ Find the cervical spinous process of the patient. 2️⃣ Move away lateral from spinous process to find transversospinales muscles. 3️⃣ Find the spot of biggest muscle tension and apply the needle. 4️⃣ Needle direction is ALWAYS medial and inferior to avoid needling spinal canals! 5️⃣ After the needle has been in the muscle for 15 minutes do the Twisting technique to get even better results. 🚨 Introducing a new member of the Physioverse Academy team! 🤓 Nicol Katalinić is a baccalaureus of physiotherapy who completed a large number of educations, some of which are Dry needling Level 1, Dry needling Level 2, Emmet, Active Natal Foundation, Trigger point, Acupressure, Functional massage, Cross-friction massage and many others. 📍Nicol is also the co-owner of the Fizio Clinic practice where she specializes in working with the general population, rehabilitation of women after childbirth, and rehabilitation of rectus abdominis diastasis. 📚 As part of the Physioverse Academy, Nicol will be the first assistant to the main lecturer, Damjan Ljubić, at the training in Clinical and Rehabilitation Massage.
