BP24 in Seville ended exactly a month ago, and the online rerun only a week ago. There are plenty of follow-up tasks still, but for now, let me pick some of my favourite reviews:
"I can confidently say this was the most content-rich BP conference I've attended so far!!" (Anaïs Thieuleux - Language specialist)
"Now, I’m back home bursting with motivation and ideas, like Mount Etna during an eruption! I can't wait to put these insights into action and see the positive changes they bring." (Elina Ilaria Nocera)
"When I went to my first BP in Lisbon I only knew two people, after my third time this year I genuinely cannot count the number of lovely translators I know from all over the world. And it’s not just a bunch of people you meet only to network, I’m talking about close friendships, checking up on each other every now and then, talking about the next BP and making travel plans until then." (Ceyda Aldemir-Down)
"BP24 in Seville was supposed to be great, but who would have thought that it will be absolutely mind-blowing!?! (...) BP is professional translators conference, but also a great place for vendor managers, boutique agency owners, localization leads, or anyone looking to connect with seasoned language professionals."
" (Birgit Hofmann)
"I can't express enough how amazing the experience was! It was a total immersion into the world of translation, where I had the opportunity to learn from some of the best professionals in the field, exchange ideas, and expand my network. The relaxed and welcoming atmosphere provided moments of fun and interaction, making the experience even more enriching." (Ana Catarina Lopes)
"I guess that, besides the constant flow of expertise, it’s the accessibility of the BP conferences that makes them so popular among us linguists. Everyone is made to feel welcome and it’s great to meet and make friends old and new. Even if there were no dedicated sessions, the BP conferences make for fantastic networking opportunities." (Kees Kranendonk)
"As usual, the flawless organisation by Csaba Bán made this a week when we could mingle and mix and meet new and old friends and colleagues alike. The catering was excellent, the coffee strong (a basic for us translators) and the location perfect. I brought back a suitcase full of memories and a mind energised with fresh ideas and inspiration - as well as a whole list of book recommendations." (Rea Gutzwiller)
I'll publish more reviews next week, now I reached the character limit :)
