The Academy of Adventure Gaming Arts and Design inducted five new members into their Hall of Fame at Origins Game Fair, as announced by The Game Manufacturers Association.

This year, the Academy honored two game designers and three artists. On the design side, Matt Leacock, designer of Pandemic, Forbidden Island, and Forbidden Desert, was honored alongside the late Terry Amthor, who wrote Shadow World and Kult. On the art side, legendary Magic: The Gathering artists Rebecca Guay and Christopher Rush (see "RIP Christopher Rush") went into the HoF along with D&D illustrator David Trampier.

Two games were also added to the Hall: The aMAZEing Labyrinth by Ravensburger and Twilight Struggle by GMT Games. Recently, GAMA also released Origins Game Fair attendance numbers (see "Origins Game Fair 2024 Attendance").
