Clover Press has announced that The Marvel Art of Michael Allred will be the next in its series with Marvel Comics of high end art books featuring well-known Marvel artists (see "Marvel, Clover Press Collaborate"). The 200-page hardcover will include Allred’s best art from over two decades of work for Marvel. It will be offered first on Kickstarter (with a retailer tier), and if it's like the other volumes in the series, will then be offered to the trade through Diamond Comic Distributors.
Diamond is currently distributing the earlier titles in the series, including volumes featuring art by David Mack, Alex Maleev, and David Nakayama, to stores.
The most recent volume to be offered on Kickstarter, The Marvel Art of Russell Dauterman, was the most successful of the series to date on Kickstarter, raising over $350,000 from 2,190 backers.
