PT FKS Multi Agro Tbk, in collaboration with Pelindo Multi Terminal, held a training initiative aimed at empowering the local communities surrounding Terminal Teluk Lamong. The program focused on teaching participants how to process soybeans into tempeh and its derivative products, helping to create new opportunities for economic growth. The training was attended by 60 women and youth from Kelurahan Tambak Osowilangun, Kelurahan Tambak Sarioso, Keluarahan Romokalisari, Kelurahan Karang Kiring who were enthusiastic about learning these new skills. FKS Food, a holding company under FKS Group, recently participated in SIAL Interfood 2024 showcasing the theme "Serving the Nation". A collaboration project between four principals which includes Padi Flour Nusantara, Bungasari Flour Mills Indonesia, FKS Food Sejahtera, and Padi Raya Sejahtera, "Serving the Nation" tells the story of FKS' commitment in providing the best quality products to serve and meet the demands of our consumers in Indonesia. A variety of activities kept customers engaged, including a tasting menu, a virtual AI photobooth, flash sales, and a series of cooking demonstrations by our in-house chefs and aspiring celebrity chefs such as Chef Devina, Chef Hideki, Ibu Fatmah, and many more. It was an excellent event during which we were able to meet directly with our consumers and communities. In celebration of the 2024 World Food Day with the theme 'The Right to Food for a Better Life and Future,' FKS Group is proud to support FoodCycle's Food Marathon as part of the Food Rescue Warrior program in collaboration with the DBS Foundation and a multi-partner network. This initiative rescues surplus food from hotels, restaurants, cafés, retailers, and agriculture, redistributing it to those in need. Since its inception, the initiative has provided more than 300,000 meals and helped 35,000 people. As part of our commitment to Food Security and one of our key ESG pillars, FKS Group is proud to contribute 1 tonne of rice and 500 kg of tempeh to this meaningful initiative. This effort also demonstrates our ongoing support for sustainability and responsible food production in Indonesia, while enhancing the well-being of communities and protecting the environment.
