Bersama Wujudkan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi 8%" as a pre-launch of the White Paper Usulan Strategi/Arah Pembangunan Bidang Ekonomi 2024-2029✨ Chairman Arsjad Rasjid opened the event, highlighting the potential benefits of 8% economic growth, from job creation and improved welfare to enhancing Indonesia’s global competitiveness 🌏 The movement also featured panel discussions represented by Vice Chairman of Vocational Education and Certification Adi Mahfudz,  Vice Permanent Committee on Entrepreneurship Kadin Indonesia Dewi Meisari and Stand Up Comedian Yudha Ramadhan (known as Yudha Keling). They discussed future-ready talents, sustainable agricultural and fisheries productivity, and MSMEs' role in providing nutritious food. The event was attended by hundreds of young professionals who actively engaged in sustainability, MSMEs, creative, entrepreneur, youth empowerment, technology, food & health sectors. Yesterday, I led the Indonesian business delegation at the ASEAN Leaders' Interface Meeting in Vientiane, Lao PDR. The Indonesian government was represented by Vice President KH Ma'ruf Amin. Several ASEAN heads of state also attended, including H.E. Sonexay Siphandone, Prime Minister of Lao PDR; H.E. Ferdinand Marcos Jr., President of the Philippines; H.E. Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia; and H.E. Pham Minh Chinh, Prime Minister of Vietnam. During the dialogue between government officials and the business sector, I underlined the need to accelerate the energy transition and strengthening ASEAN's inclusive economic cooperation. We intend to put the concept of 'complementary growth' into practice through projects like the ASEAN Net Zero Hub and the ASEAN Alliance on Carbon Markets (AACM). Kadin Indonesia, together with the Ministry of Home Affairs’ HR Development Agency, held a technical briefing (Bimtek) for the 2024-2029 Provincial DPRD members 📝🔎 As part of its efforts to align with Indonesia's goal of achieving 8% economic growth, Kadin also introduced its White Paper on Economic Development Strategies for 2024-2029 to help national and regional governments shape their next five-year plans. The AI platform, KadinPedia.ai, was also launched to provide easy access to policy references 💻🖱️ In this phase, Kadin Indonesia successfully held a total of 16 orientation sessions, with 2,381 participants, including 38 representatives of DPRD members from various provinces.
