Dermot Blunnie is an Associate within AWN's Acoustics Department. Dermot holds a BEng in Sound Engineering, an MSc in Applied Acoustics and has been working in the field of acoustics since 2008. Dermot is a member of both Engineers Ireland and the Institute of Acoustics. He is experienced in environmental, building and architectural acoustics. Damian Kelly is the Technical Director of our Acoustics team within the Noise department. Damian holds a BSc in Analytical Science and a MSc in Environmental Science. This week, in anticipation of International Women’s Day, we are pleased to highlight one of our esteemed, long-standing directors, Teri Hayes. Teri has over 30 years of environmental consulting experience including managing environmental impact assessments, water resource assessments, and contaminated land and licensing projects. Teri is a member and former President of the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH) and is a professional member of the Institute of Geologists of Ireland (IGI) and European Federation of Geologists (EurGeol). Within our Noise Department, our Director of Acoustics Jennifer Harmon holds a BSc in Environmental Science and a Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control. She specialises in EIAs and is a member of the Institute of Acoustics (MIOA). Within our Water Department, Dr Fergal Callaghan Callaghan holds a BSc in Chemistry and a PhD in Chemical Engineering. Beyond 33 years in the environmental engineering sector, he is a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and an Associate Member of the Institute of Chemical Engineers.
