I felt I need to mention at risk of seeming patronising, however we would hear about negative stories if there were ones. Future looks promising with young people like this in rural Ireland. Last night I was on a very full Aerlingus Flight from Berlin, two groups of transition year student on board from different schools on a TY school trip. One group sitting around me from Scoil Pol Ardfinane Co, Limerick. Ardfinane should be proud of them, best behaved cheerful bunch, great chats about #darts #farming #futurecareers #sportstatistics #hurling . So what? I believe it’s worth calling out as we hear so much about when bad things happen we don’t hear the majority of young people are better teenagers than we were. Well done to the educators managing over 80 young people on such a trip!
