With a degree from Dublin City University, she started her career in broadcasting before transitioning to sales roles at top companies like O2 and Vodafone. Joining Certa as Commercial Director in 2021, she has made an invaluable impact on our team.   A dedicated leader, Orla believes in the power of work-life balance, advocating for family-friendly policies and making time for what matters most. Whether she’s walking her Labrador, singing in a choir, or spending quality time with her four children and husband, Orla shows us all how to thrive both personally and professionally.    Orla’s main advice to other women is not to wait for the perfect time- take the leap and embrace the journey, learning from both success and challenges. It’s Women’s Sports week, and we wanted to give a special shout out to a team close to our hearts: The National Cricket Team. We’ve been working closely with Cricket Ireland for a couple of years now, and even in that time we’ve seen immense growth, and more moments full of pride than we can count. This is a team smashing it every time they play, and have set the foundation for generations to come for sporting success in this country. Grace Cunningham Retail Operations Manager has successfully completed the Let’s Lead! Leadership Development for Women at DCU Business School, a fresh, female-focused and research-driven approach designed for impactful results. Leveraging the latest insights from the psychology of leadership compromising of 8 sessions over 3 months, Grace was able to define her leadership brand, link it back to her core values and how to use her leadership approach in the workplace.   We asked Grace what was her biggest learning?   ‘’For me, the biggest learning was the difference between being a good manager and a leader. I consider myself a good manager, getting things done, good housekeeping, reaching KPI’s etc. But for being a good leader is about promoting values, having a vision, bringing other people on journey etc’’.
