please see attached details about the project and in particular In person Seminar 4th programme. Circular Reno is an EU project funded under Interreg NW (grant number NWE0100144), which is seeking to develop bio-construction materials from agricultural crops and wastes for application in modular construction systems, which can be applied in new and retrofit contexts (https://lnkd.in/eEjh9JV4). The project partners here in Ireland are KORE Retrofit and Tuath housing association. Working with EU partners we are seeking to develop a multi stakeholder group to promote the development of pilot solutions and potential agri-bio crop construction supply chains here in Ireland. Our envisaged focus is on crops such as straw, miscanthus and industrial hemp, and our aim is to develop a road map and action plan for the sector and particular grower groups toward developing supply chains and pilot demonstrative modular construction panels utilising these crops. Please see attached an overview project and WP1 flyer. We have been hosting several online briefing events, you can have a look at project overview presentation on the website (https://lnkd.in/gfFaWvyN) and 3 previous online seminars comprising emerging state of play research, case exemplars and supply chain insights. We are organizing the first IN-PERSON SEMINAR No4 on Biobased Construction and Supply Chain Development 📅 on Wednesday 25th September 📍 in Dublin at the Rediscovery Centre 🕤 Registration opens at 9:30 am, and the seminar will take place from 10:00 am to 12:45 pm. The programme will present new research and exemplar case studies on agri-crop biobased construction solutions with a focus on supply chain aspects and development. It includes presentations from researchers and practitioners from Ireland and Europe. 🌍 📋 The programme details are attached Note that registration is required, please register here: 👉 Circular Reno Ireland - SEMINAR 04 - REGISTRATION FORM🔗 📢 If you or your organisation are actively seeking to support, facilitate, promote, or develop biobased solutions or supply chains here in Ireland and wish to be involved in our emerging Supply Chain Development Working Group and attend the WORKSHOP 🛠️ for the same in the afternoon session (between 1pm to 4pm), please express your interest via: 👉 Circular Reno Ireland - WORKSHOP 01 - Expression of Interest 🔗 ⚠️ Please note that numbers for this are limited, and participation is only for those seeking to actively promote and develop biobased solutions and supply chains. Please feel free to circulate this invitation to potential interested stakeholders in Ireland from farming, processing, manufacture, construction, development, research, business and investment sectors.
