Wednesday was a first for cycle-friendliness in Ireland, with Galway's Bonham Quay becoming Ireland's first fully accredited Cycle-Friendly business campus 🥇 With a zero carbon target set for the Bonham Quay development, environmental performance is key, especially when built on a contaminated urban site. Cycling through Dublin this afternoon I ran into Paddy Byrne of Life Pharmacy Ireland in Ballsbrige who'd just finished his delivery run. Paddy's clocked over 11,000 Km on the cargo bike delivering packages of all shapes and sizes 📦🚲 Also included are pictures of Paddy's bike during his neighbourhood cleaning days, and delivering flowers for the Dublin Horse Show 🌺 Dublin's topography and layout is ideally suited for sustainable last mile delivery solutions by bike - huge credit to Paddy, Bleeper and Dublin City Council for championing cargo bike delivery solutions in the capital 👏 #LastMileDelivery #SustainableTransport #CyclingDublin
