This week marked the final week of Ideas Made Real school visits to Decotek's Manufacturing Plant in Collinstown. On Monday and Thursday we were delighted to welcome two groups of students from the Community College Castlepollard and their teachers. The students experienced first hand the implementation of Advanced Manufacturing and Cutting Edge Technologies in our production processes and learned about the many Apprenticeships and Work-based Third Level Programmes Decotek has on offer. We wish all students continued success on their educational journey and all the best for their future!

This week we were delighted to open our doors to two very motivated groups of TY students from #ColáisteMhuireMullingar, participating in the #IdeasMadeReal programme. The students experienced the implementation of #AdvancedManufacturing in our production processes and got to demonstrate their own problem solving skills in some hands-on activities. We wish them all the very best for their future careers! #AutomotiveIndustry

DECOTEK was delighted to further welcome a group of TY students and their teachers from Loreto College Mullingar today, who are also participating in IMR's Ideas Made Real programme. The team at DECOTEK was particularly delighted to be able to demonstrate the many different career opportunities that are available in DECOTEK and Advanced Manufacturing. The students engaged in a tour of our production facilities and in some hands-on activities, in which they could demonstrated their understanding of our processes and their problem solving skills. This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming two further TY groups participating in this year's Ideas Made Real programme. On Wednesday students and teachers from the Community College Mullingar visited DECOTEK Automotive's facility in Collinstown to experience first hand the application of Advanced Manufacturing in a real life production setting. Our team was delighted to not only show and explain the different production processes to the students, but to also challenge their problem solving skills in some hands-on activities.
