CHAMPIONING COMMUNITY | It was a day of colour, community and connection @donegalyarns open day yesterday. We are proud to be part of a rich heritage and textile community working in natural fibres and producing Donegal Tweed right here in South West Donegal. Thank you Donegal Yarns Ltd for a great celebration of community, our Chairman Lynn Temple, CEO of Magee Weaving Patrick Temple and CEO of Magee 1866 Rosy Temple and the Magee 1866 team connected with our friends Studio Donegal Rebecca Marsden Aoife Mc Namara Donegal ETB and many more. At Magee 1866 and Magee Weaving we work closely with our neighbours Donegal Yarns who provide many yarns for the fabrics we produce in our mill in Donegal town. The full production process from blending, carding, spinning and distribution takes place in Kilcar which has a long history of textile production. Take a look inside with us and see the colourful processes in action here… #magee1866 #naturalfibres #donegal #donegaltweed #wildatlanticway #kilcar #wool #colour
