Multi Award Winning Early Learning and Care centres in the Midlands

About us

If you choose Grovelands Childcare you can have the peace of mind that your child is in the safe hands of a highly competent and caring team. The facilities in all of our centres are second to none and we have the awards to prove it. We are the only crèche in the country to hold the “Centre of Excellence” award for eight consecutive years. At Grovelands Childcare the safety and security of your child while in our care is of paramount importance. Feel safe in the knowledge that we have state of the art security settings and procedures in place at each of our centre. In the current economic climate we feel that we are provided parents with an exceptional service while at the same time giving them value for their money. At Grovelands Childcare we know how hard it can be for parents to have to go back to work and so we welcome parents to leave their child in the centre for short periods of time one week before your child starts with us. This settling in period allows you and your child to familiarise yourselves with the centre, staff and other children. The settling in period is at your convenience before the commencement date and is offered free of charge.

As the Founder and Managing Director of Grovelands Childcare, I hold a profound passion for nurturing the potential of every child within our care. Together with my fellow directors, our management team, and our exceptional early years educators, we are united in our mission to foster an enriching environment where children can thrive in body, spirit, and mind. We are committed to creating a safe, engaging, and inspiring learning atmosphere both indoors and outdoors, recognizing the importance of holistic development. To ensure our educators are continually growing and adapting to the evolving pedagogical needs of our children, we provide comprehensive continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities for all team members annually. Moreover, on a national scale, we continue to actively engage and advocate for the best interests of children and our sector as a whole. By participating in discussions at the highest level, we aim to contribute positively to shaping policies and practices that benefit all children in childcare. Together, we can continue to elevate the standard of care and education, ensuring a brighter future for every child we serve. Thank you to our amazing team in who give their all every day to the children they work with and to all of the partner companies Grovelands Childcare have worked with over the years and still work with who have supported us to deliver a five star service to parents children and communities across the midlands over the past 35 years. Ciaran Flynn its great to hear that you are working in this area. In todays world all Early Learning and Care students should have a meaningful module on technology in use in services it would be a great advantage to them to know how to use it and the support it offers them, the service and the parents.

Last week, we were invited down to Limerick and Clare ETB to showcase Child Paths and give students an insight into how our platform is helping early years services all over the country. We highlighted for the level 5 students how Child Paths significantly reduces administration and enhances communication, and, more importantly, we shared what we're building and how our application will help give teachers, parents and children a greater insight into their world of learning and development. We would like to thank the teachers, Joan Guiry O’Donoghue and Maura Killeen, for the invitation. Many of the students were on work placements and could relate to how technology can help services operate more efficiently and effectively. Maura said Child Paths covers all aspects, everything in one platform and uses all the terminology; it’s excellent. If your college or university is keen on exploring the use of technology in any of the early education courses for 2024, we would love to come and share our experiences and insights. Get organised and book your dates for next year. childpaths.ie
