Congratulations to Irish Funds on the outstanding success of their two events in the United States this week — first in Greenwich, followed by a highly impactful New York City symposium. These gatherings continue to strengthen the deep and strategic connections between #Ireland and the Global Investment Funds industry. With over 19,000 people employed in the sector across the country, and Irish-domiciled funds totalling US$5.1 trillion in assets across 8,903 funds, Ireland remains a vital gateway for global investment, financial innovation, and sustainable finance. A special thank you to Minister Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD, whose attendance and opening address at the #NewYork symposium reaffirmed the Irish Government’s commitment to supporting the international funds industry. Her remarks highlighted Ireland’s stable regulatory environment, continued industry growth, and leadership in sustainable finance. IDA Ireland is proud to partner with Irish Funds, reinforcing Ireland's reputation as a leading destination for investment funds, driving growth, innovation, and excellence in the sector. #InvestInIreland #InvestInExtraordinary #IrishFunds #FinancialServices Minister Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD | Pat Lardner | Natasha Haugh | David Shirley | Nicholas Blake-Knox | Keith Newton

In the run-up to St. Patricks Day, HubSpot’s Leadership team welcomed Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment, Peter Burke, IDA’s Executive Director, Mary Buckley, and IDA’s VP of CCBS, Karen Healy, to their Global HQ in Cambridge, MA. The delegation discussed HubSpot’s important role in the growth of Ireland’s tech industry over the years, as well as its investment in R&D and commitment to community engagement. In 2013, HubSpot chose Dublin as the location for its EMEA HQ, aiming to hire 150 people within the first three years. Since then, the team and office, fondly known as ‘#DubSpot’ have more than tripled in size. Today, the company currently employs over 1,000 highly skilled individuals in Ireland, which accounts for more than 10% of its global workforce. At IDA Ireland, we are proud to have HubSpot as a valued member of the Irish tech ecosystem, and we look forward to our continued partnership. #InvestInIreland #InvestInExtraordinary #StPatricksDay

We were honoured to be hosted by Analog Devices, Inc. in #Boston, alongside Minister for Enterprise, Tourism, and Employment Peter Burke, as part of his St. Patrick’s Day programme to the United States. Our visit included a tour of the #AnalogGarage, ADI’s incubation lab for early-stage ventures pioneering innovation and long-term research and development in disruptive technologies, across machine learning, circuits, sensors, security, and signal processing. This was a valuable opportunity to discuss the skills-development and infrastructure needs required, to support Ireland’s ongoing development as a global hub for cutting-edge innovation and technology. As the first global semiconductor company to invest in Ireland, Analog Devices, Inc. continues to be a leader within the industry in Ireland. With nearly 50 years of presence in Ireland, the company now employs over 1,800 people across three sites in Limerick, Cork, and Dublin. In 2023, ADI announced a €630 million investment in a #Semiconductor R&D and Manufacturing Facility at its European regional headquarters in Limerick. The investment was supported via the Important Project of Common European Interest (#IPCEI), the first IPCEI in which Ireland has directly participated. Thank you to Martin Cotter, SVP, Vertical Business Units & President, ADI EMEA, Gina Aquilano, Fellow & Managing Director, ADI EMEA, and Mike Morrissey, Senior Catalyst Director, ADI Ireland, for hosting IDA’s Executive Director, Mary Buckley, and IDA’s VP of CCBS, Karen Healy. We look forward to our continued partnership in the decades ahead as Analog Devices continues to innovate, transform, and shape the future of the semiconductor industry. #InvestInIreland #InvestInExtraordinary #StPatricksDay
