A night to remember INEX - Internet Neutral Exchange "Internet’s Past: Gateway to the Future" event last night where we all reflected on the power of hindsight and learning from history as our community aims to shape what lies ahead. We are hugely grateful to have had the opportunity to have some of the most purposeful and innovative minds in the industry together. Huge thanks to Karlin Lillington, Paul Vixie, Maria Farrell and James Cowie. The set-up of the panel provided an opportunity for everyone to ask questions, connect, and exchange ideas in a smaller, more personal setting. Thank you to all who attended for their energy and insightful questions that added so much to the evening. #INEX #INEXpresents #INEXcommunity

Dublin internet friends, there are just a couple of spots left for what I think will be a fascinating conversation during the IETF (but not requiring IETF ticket!) about the paths the internet took, might otherwise have taken, and may yet go down. The Internet's past and future, organised by the magnificent Eileen Gallagher and with the Irish Times' redoubtable Karlin Lillington, and internet legends Paul Vixie and James Cowie. Tuesday evening November 5th!
A quick reminder to all INEX - Internet Neutral Exchange members and friends that you are invited to this event where Karlin Lillington will be leading a conversation with Paul Vixie, James Cowie and Maria Farrell on what we can learn from the history so far of the internet's development that will inform where we go next. We expect a very interesting discussion! Full details are on our website: https://lnkd.in/ewdCUiSh There are very few spots left, so if you can join us, do please drop us an email to register at rsvp@inex.ie as soon as possible #inexpresents #peeringisgoodforus

Members and friends of INEX - Internet Neutral Exchange, we are delighted to invite you to this event where Karlin Lillington will be leading a conversation with Paul Vixie, James Cowie and Maria Farrell on what we can learn from the history so far of the internet's development that will inform where we go next. In particular, we are hoping that this conversation will look at how forks happened in development and what led to them - whether it was informed technology decisions, strongest voices at that time or just common garden errors. We expect a very interesting discussion!
