The 2023 Planning and Development Bill was passed by Dáil Éireann in June but has yet to be passed by Seanad Éireann. The Oireachtas will return from Summer Recess this Wednesday 18th of September and the Minister has indicated that the passage of the Bill will be prioritised. A consolidated version of the Bill, reflecting amendments up to Committee Stage in Seanad Éireann has now been published. The accompanying Regulations to implement the new Bill are awaited.
