2023 has been one of the most rewarding years so far, it was great to see the work I’ve put in pay off. Countless hours on practical coaching with Kerry Football Club academy and countless opportunities throughout my undergraduate degree in Munster Technological University have made this one of the most enjoyable years to date. Hopefully 2024 continues the same way with pre season beginning with Kerry Football Club MU20 and my Research Project being completed in Semester 2!

Hello. If you could spare a minute to read this, below is the story of a young neighbour of mine. This is Alex and this is his story. At the age of 4, Alex has been diagnosed with childhood cancer and is currently receiving treatment at Crumlin Children's Hospital in Dublin. To date, Alex has received 10 rounds of chemotherapy and still has a long road ahead, another year of treatment. Doctors are currently in the process of harvesting Alex’s stem cells as he will need a bone-marrow transplant in the near future. To try and support Alex and his family - Kerry Football Club will host a charity game between Kerry Soccer players and Kerry GAA players on February 2nd at 7:00pm in Mounthawlk Park, Tralee. The family need support and all donations will hopefully help Alex on this difficult journey. View Alex's story here: https://lnkd.in/euZ96VR7 Buy a match ticket here: www.kerryfc.com/tickets Please Donate here: https://gofund.me/9972cd7c Thank you in advance for any kind donations. It's very much appreciated .

I was thrilled to be a part of Kerry Football Club U-14’s a goalkeeper coach for the 2023 season. I'd like to thank Damian Locke for giving me the opportunity to coach with the club. Massive shoutout to Donagh O’Brien for welcoming me into the back room staff of the U-14's. The rapport between Donagh O’Brien, Seb Vasiu and Cathal Moriarty was expectational and made the experience that much more enjoyable, all while fostering a fantastic environment for player development. Grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the growth of these young athletes! #LeagueofIreland #GoalkeeperCoach #YouthDevelopment 🧤 ⚽️
Good to finish off my first full and proper season coaching at League of Ireland level with Kerry Football Club. Being a Head Coach for the first time meant dealing with all areas of the squad, designing sessions, managing players game time, staff and parents and all other logistical duties. The players got their first taste of League of Ireland football at U14 level who progressed massively in their developent from January to November. I’m looking forward to seeing how this group continues going forward into U15 and beyond. Thanks to Damian Locke for the opportunity and Seb Vasiu, Cathal Moriarty and Brian O Regan for assisting me throughout the year. Onto 2024 where I’ll be Assistant Coach with the U17 Squad. Eagerly waiting for the new season to begin! ⚽️

Second season down at Kerry Football Club academy. Had the pleasure of helping talented players develop physically. Plenty of learnings and great experience gained. As one season finishes, preparation begins for the next as we begin our off season gym phase. A big thank you to Damian Locke for entrusting me with being apart of these players athletic development and helping lay the building blocks for players to achieve their athletic potential.
